SURFs UP @ the CBE JU Stakeholder Forum 2026

The SURFSUP project will be featured at the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) Stakeholder Forum 2026, taking place on 24th March 2026 in Brussels.

As part of the exhibition area dedicated to showcasing concrete results from CBE JU-funded projects, SURFs UP will present its achievements in the valorisation of lignin and other biorefinery residues into high-value bio-based surfactants. The exhibition highlights innovative solutions that are helping to develop Europe’s circular bio-based economy.

A key product on display will be “Dishtroyer”, the new dishwashing liquid developed by Amphistar using biosurfactants produced within the SURFSUP project. This product demonstrates how renewable, bio-based ingredients derived from side-streams can successfully replace fossil-based surfactants in everyday consumer applications.

SURFSUP is proud to contribute to demonstrating how European research and innovation are scaling up sustainable bio-based solutions and accelerating the transition towards a circular economy.
