SURFs-Up Project Marks Key Milestone with 12-Month Consortium Meeting in Espoo, Finland

Espoo, Finland - 28th May 2025

On May 27th, the SURFs-Up consortium assembled for its 12-month meeting, hosted in a hybrid format at the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland in Espoo. The event brought together partners from across Europe to review project progress and collectively explore the next phases of work within the field of biosurfactants.

The meeting served as a platform to:
• Present the latest results and technical advancements,
• Strengthen collaborative efforts among project partners,
• Discuss the role of biosurfactants in enabling sustainable alternatives across various industrial sectors.

This gathering marked an important milestone in the SURFs-Up project timeline, offering valuable opportunities to align scientific, technical, and strategic objectives moving forward.
