Poster presentation at ABIM 2024 : Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting

Basel, Switzerland – 21/23rd October 2024

At ABIM 2024, the Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting held in Basel, Switzerland, from the 21st to the 23rd of October 2024, the ULIE partner presented a scientific poster highlighting the IIS Digibiocontrol initiative.

This initiative aims to integrate digital innovation and sustainable biological solutions within the agri-food sector. The poster showcased SURFs UP as a flagship project emphasised how biosurfactants derived from renewable sources can contribute to the reduction of synthetic chemical inputs, improving crop protection strategies while promoting environmental safety and soil health.

ULIE’s participation at ABIM 2024 accentuated the project’s relevance to global biocontrol trends and highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration between digital tools, microbial technologies, and circular bioeconomy principles.
